
Vesper High-Performance Summer Program

Vesper Boat Club’s High-Performance Summer Program offers U23 and postgrad athletes the opportunity to train on Philadelphia’s historic Boathouse Row alongside highly motivated individuals. This three-month camp provides elite coaching, cutting-edge training facilities, and top-tier equipment to help athletes develop both technically and physiologically.
Athletes will compete in a full summer racing circuit, including the Independence Day Regatta, RowFest Nationals, and Canadian Henley, with a strong emphasis on winning in the 8+, 4+, and 2-.

Dates and Deadlines:
- TBD June 2026
Capacity:
- 18 spots available for men and women rowers
- 4 spots for coxswains
Training Times:
- 6:00 - 8:00 a.m. Monday-Friday
- 8:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday
Regattas:
- Schuylkill Navy Regatta
- Independence Day Regatta
- Canadian Henley
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a valid passport
- Expectation to compete at each regatta; failure to do so significantly affects admission chances
- No “minimum” erg score; faster athletes will have priority
- Camp fee of $1,500 includes all training and regatta fees, travel and housing for Canadian Henley, team uniform, and access to the state-of-the-art Vesper training facility & boats.
