11 Vesper members won HOCR Gold this weekend in Boston. Jenne Daley along with Penn AC boat-mate Jenn Goldsack led the Gold Rush with a win in the Champ 2x on Saturday.
Sunday’s racing saw the Champ women’s 4+ of Grace Latz, Vicky Optiz, Sydney Axson, Nicole Ritchie and Sam McDonald (cox) winning their even by over 12 seconds. The women’s light 4+ also stormed down the course defeating 3 time reigning light 4 champs Undine Barge club to win the even by over 9 seconds: congratulations go to Claire McConnell, Shannon Kaplan, Bryn Crawford, Mary Jones and Andi Hartfield (cox).
5 summer members also won medals on the Charles this weekend, congrats to Helen Beckner (wisco light 8+), Julia Darnton (Michigan Champ W8+), Erich Schultz (Harvard light 8+-2nd place), Steven Cutler (Princeton Light 8+-3rd place) and Liz Euiler (Brock light 4+-3d place).
