Another good year at Canadian Henley!
The Vesper U23 Lightweight women performed exceptionally well. The 9 U23 lightweight girls tallied 14 medals; winning the U23 lightweight women’s 2x (we were also 3rd in that event), senior lightweight women’s 8+ and senior lt. women’s 4x (less than an hour and a half after winning the eight).
The women also finished a close second in the U23 Light eight and Liz Euiler, finished 5th in a field of nearly 40 U23 lightweight single scullers.
In addition, our Open weight women’s program dominated the U23 Women’s 8+ (an 8+ second gap) and won the senior women’s dash. Our champ men’s 8+ finished 4th and our open women finished 2nd and 4th in their championship event.
