Vesper wins a gold and three silver at the 2010 USRowing National Championship Regatta. Congratulations to Shannon Kaplan and Christina Meyer for handily winning the women's double sculls. Great racing on the part of Dan Scholz and Matt Bokermann in the LM2x, Hannah Godfrey and Jenne Daley in the LW2x, and Greg Kaplan (composite LM8).

Attracting high-caliber athletes from throughout the United States and Canada, Vesper Boat Club’s Elite Program has trained athletes who have earned Olympic, World and National medals. Today, under the coaching leadership of three-time Dutch Olympic medallist Michiel Bartman, Vesper Boat Club invites select athletes to participate in two outstanding elite programs: Year Round and Summer.

Year Round Elite Program info please contact Michiel Bartman

Vesper Boat Club has one aim: to develop champions. Producing the first Olympic Gold Medal Men’s Eight in 1900, Vesper struck gold again in 1904 and once more 1964 (this was the last Club boat to win Olympic eight oared gold and the only one to win three times). Vesper Boat Club is the only club that can lay claim to such an illustrious Olympic tradition. Vesper Boat Club provides the following Year Round Elite and development training programs for men’s and women’s sweep and sculling

Vesper athletes raced at the 2008 Beijing Olympics:
Andrew Byrnes-Canadian men’s eight, gold
Josh Inman-US men’s eight, bronze
Sam Stitt-US men’s quad, 5th place

If you are interested in the Year-Round Elite Program, please contact Head Coach Michiel Bartman.
