Elite Racing Program
Vesper has been building their year-round racing squad to be one of the most competitive and successful teams in the United States. Our mission is to give the ambitious rower a chance to see if they can reach their potential and make the national team. No prior National Team experience necessary. In the past years, members of this team have gone on to international successes at the Olympic Games, World Championships, PanAm Games and FISA World Cups.

On the National level we compete for Golds at the Elite National Championships, the Club National Championships, Independence Day regatta and Canadian Henley.

Our program is open to those who meet the qualifications, men and women, open and light, and who have the ambition and dream to make the national team. We want to be the premier training site for everybody who is fast or wants to become fast. Training for the National Team requires hard work, dedication and perseverance. At Vesper; we will support you with great coaches, a supportive board of directors, Olympic quality boats, housing opportunities and so much more.

Vesper High Performance Team
Vesper is recruiting aspiring National Team rowers to join us in Philadelphia and train with HP Coach, John Parker.

A High Performance extension of the Elite Team; these athletes, based on factors such as prior national team experience, test results, and race performance, will qualify for housing and racing expense support, domestically and internationally, as well as access to Vespers network of employment assistance.

In addition to these intangible benefits, Vesper also provides access to world-class equipment, personal boat storage, state of the art physiological testing and personal individualized coaching.

Vesper, Boathouse Row, and Philadelphia offer an unmatched history and tradition of producing World Championship and Olympic medalists; a competitive racing environment; proximity to Princeton, the National Team camps, and the NSR course; and living in a sophisticated, world-class city with incredible educational, career and life opportunities beyond the world of rowing.
